Hi,
welcome!
My name is Kyra. I’m a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Canada.
My approach to therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, relational, and somatic (body-oriented) — drawing from different psychotherapy modalities to meet clients’ needs. I work from an anti-oppressive, anti-pathologizing framework and am inclusive of gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. I support adults, adolescents, and children— in exploring and navigating grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, interpersonal challenges, and self understanding.
I completed my master’s degree in Psychology at Adler Graduate School in Canada. I also integrate creativity into psychotherapy, based on my Art Therapy training from Metàfora in Spain.
My experience supporting children and adults with developmental challenges, of a wide range of communication, expression and mobility needs, has informed my sense of patience and energetic spirit.
I offer sessions in English, under supervision.
I look forward to meeting you!
